One Year Since Black Cat Studio Hit the Headlines! 🐾🖤

This time last year, Black Cat Studio was featured in the News & Star for the very first time, and honestly? I still get a little giddy thinking about it.

The article New Carlisle-based marketing studio aiming to promote local businesses was such a milestone for me. It felt like my little business baby had been seen – like all the long nights, coffee-fuelled strategy sessions, and Canva marathons were starting to pay off. I’d just launched, full of ambition (and maybe a dash of nerves), with a mission to help local businesses glow up online.

Fast forward a year, and… WOW. So much has changed, but the heart of Black Cat Studio is still the same – supporting small businesses, shouting about everything Carlisle has to offer, and keeping things real, fun, and a little bit cheeky.

Over the past 12 months, I’ve worked with such a wild variety of businesses: dog treat shops, wedding boutiques, nail techs, massage therapists, photographers, cafés, event planners, and – oddly enough – a growing number of chiropractors (turns out, I’ve carved a bit of a niche there 💁‍♀️). Some clients have dipped in for one-off bits, and others have stayed for the long haul – and honestly? Every single one of them has brought something special to the table.

I’ve also expanded Black Cat’s services like crazy! What started out as social media management has now grown into a full-blown digital marketing studio. We’re talking consultancy, content creation, branding, website design, strategy development – the works. My partner Reece officially joined the team this year, lending his creative genius to our photo and video content (and yes, he’s the reason we now make TikToks that don’t look like they were filmed on a potato).

I’ll be honest – 2025 started off a bit rocky. Running a business is no walk in the park, and I definitely had moments where my own marketing slipped down the to-do list. But I’m back, baby! I’ve got big plans, new projects brewing, and a shiny new article coming out verrrry soon… 👀

So here’s to a year of growth, grit, and gorgeous graphics. I’m proud of everything Black Cat Studio has become, and I’m even more excited about what’s coming next.
