Hey there! Welcome to Black Cat Studio’s very first blog post – we’re so glad you’re here! I’m Bethany, the face behind Black Cat Studio, and if you’re looking for a creative and strategic partner to help boost your business’s social media presence, you’re in the right place. Today, I want to share a bit about what drives Black Cat Studio, why I started this journey, and, of course, introduce you to the very special “team” that makes our work so unique. 😉
The Mission: Supporting Local Businesses with Tailored Social Media Strategy
I founded Black Cat Studio with a simple but powerful goal: to give small, independent businesses in Carlisle and Cumbria the online presence they deserve. With a background in photography and a deep love for all things creative, I saw how social media could give local businesses a big impact – but only if done right. My mission is to take the headache out of social media, so you can focus on running your business and spending time on what matters most.
Each business is unique, and I believe that every social media strategy should reflect that. From crafting custom visuals to planning content that speaks to your audience, I work with you every step of the way. Whether you’re a cozy café, a bustling boutique, or a one-of-a-kind service provider, my goal is to highlight what makes you special in the digital world.
Meet the Team Behind the Scenes (aka My Feline Dream Team)
Running a creative business isn’t a one-person job. Here at Black Cat Studio, I’m “assisted” by my four resident cats, each with a personality and flair that inspires my work daily.
Let’s meet them:
Rogue – Our “Chief Operations Officer,” Rogue is my oldest and, by far, the sassiest of the team. He’s a bit standoffish but has a sensitive side that reminds me to create with heart. We let him think he’s the one in charge, though everyone knows Rebel is the real boss.
Rebel – The “Head of Project Management,” Rebel is my only girl and the queen of keeping the boys (and sometimes me!) in line. She’s always up for an adventure and brings that spirited energy into Black Cat Studio’s creativity.
Obi – The “Head of Client Relations”. My sweet Obi, he’s the one you’ll find curled up on my lap, reminding me that good business is about relationships and understanding.
Zeb – Our “Creative Director,” Zeb is endlessly curious and always getting into things. His adventurous spirit helps me stay open to new ideas, new designs, and new strategies for my clients.
